With a medical degree from Eugenio Maria de Hostos University of Medicine (Dominican Republic, 1994), Dr. Gonzalez began his career as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist at St. Joseph Hospital and Medical Center in New Jersey. He later served in emergency medicine roles throughout Puerto Rico before founding a family medicine practice in Southwest Florida in 2006, where he continues to serve the community.
His background in acute and chronic care gives him a unique edge in the aesthetic space—bridging internal health and external rejuvenation to deliver real, sustainable outcomes.
Dr. Gonzalez has also contributed to impactful medical research, playing a key role in the development of Molnupiravir for non-hospitalized COVID-19 patients as part of the MOVE-OUT study, published in the New England Journal of Medicine. As a clinical instructor for Nova Southeastern University’s Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) and Physician Assistant (P.A.) programs since 2006, he remains dedicated to mentoring future healthcare professionals.
